visitors a unique shopping experience. Black Cat Books, an independent bookstore/wine bar, and safron of Manitou Springs,
an eclectic boutique of wearable textile art, will co-occupy the current Black Cat space at 720 Manitou Avenue. The
structure, one of the many historic buildings in Manitou, was once a dairy. Uniting the two successful concepts was
a decision influenced by economics as much as a creative approach to marketing.
